Soumets ton projet is a platform operated by Solutions Techno-Rédac inc. (“we”). Protecting your personal information is important to us. This policy explains what information we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Quebec), as amended by Law 25.
1. Person in charge of the protection of personal information
The person in charge of the protection of personal information is Anne-Marie Coulombe, President. You can reach her at info@soumetstonprojet.ca with any question, request or complaint about your personal information. Our practices are detailed in our personal information governance policy.

3. Why we use your information
- Review and publish submitted projects.

- Create and manage accounts, subscriptions and billing.
- Answer your questions and send you service-related communications (confirmations, publication notices, invoices).
- Send you the newsletter, if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Keep the platform secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Meet our legal obligations, including tax obligations.
We only collect the information needed for these purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade any personal information.
4. Consent
We collect your information with your consent, given when you fill out a form or create an account. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions; however, this may prevent us from offering you certain services (for example, keeping your project published).
5. Who has access to your information
- Clients’ contact information: it is never displayed publicly. Only authorized members of our team have access to it, for validation and support purposes.
- Professionals’ information: when a professional expresses interest, their contact information and message are sent only to the client of the project concerned.
- Messages: only the client and the professional concerned can read their conversation. A client’s email address is never sent to professionals. Soumets ton projet administrators may access it only in exceptional cases, to handle a dispute or a report of abuse, to respond to a request from an authority empowered to require it, or to respond to an access request made under the law. Each access is justified and recorded in a register.
- Service providers: website hosting, sending emails and payment processing (Stripe). They only use your information to provide these services to us and are contractually bound to protect it.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information when required by law.
6. Disclosure outside Quebec
Some service providers, including Stripe for payment processing, may store or process information outside Quebec. Before any such disclosure, we assess the privacy factors and make sure the information will be adequately protected.
7. Retention period
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, then securely destroy or anonymize it. The exact periods are set out in our governance policy. Messaging conversations are automatically deleted 24 months after the last message, or as soon as the account or project concerned is deleted. Billing information is kept for seven (7) years to meet our tax obligations.
8. Security
We apply reasonable security measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), encrypted passwords, messages encrypted in our database with a key stored separately, access restricted to those who need it, regular updates and backups. Since no system is perfectly secure, we have a procedure for managing confidentiality incidents; if an incident poses a risk of serious harm, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information.
9. Cookies
The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work (session, logging in to your account, form security). Any other technology that can identify you, locate you or carry out profiling is disabled by default and is only activated with your consent, collected through our banner. You can change your choices at any time using the icon at the bottom of the screen. To learn more, see our cookie policy.
10. Your rights
At any time, you can:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- request its correction if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
- request its deletion or that its dissemination cease;
- withdraw your consent;
- request that your information be provided in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability).
To exercise these rights, write to info@soumetstonprojet.ca. We will reply in writing within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
11. Minors
The platform is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information about people under 14 years of age.
12. Changes
We may change this policy. The current version is always published on this page, with its update date. In the event of a significant change, subscribers will be notified by email.
