This policy explains how Soumets ton projet, a platform operated by Solutions Techno-Rédac inc., uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage your choices. It supplements our privacy policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved by your browser when you visit a website. It can be used to keep your session open, remember your preferences or, with your consent, measure site traffic.
2. Your consent
In accordance with Law 25, any technology that can identify you, locate you or carry out profiling is disabled by default. On your first visit, a banner lets you:
- accept all;
- reject all (only necessary cookies remain active);
- customize your choices by category.
Your choice is kept for 12 months, after which the banner is shown again. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the shield icon at the bottom of the screen.
3. Types of cookies
| Category | What are they for? | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Basic site operation: logging in to your account, form security, subscription payments, remembering your consent choices. | Not required (always active) |
| Functional | Remember certain preferences to improve your experience. | Required |
| Analytics | Measure traffic and understand how the site is used, in aggregate. | Required |
| Advertising | Measure the effectiveness of our campaigns or display relevant ads. | Required |
To date, the site mainly uses necessary cookies. Details of the cookies detected (name, provider, duration) are shown in the banner’s “Customize” window. If we add an audience measurement or marketing tool, it will stay blocked until you give your consent.
4. Third-party cookies
When you pay for a subscription, our payment provider Stripe may set cookies needed for transaction security and fraud prevention. These cookies are governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). However, blocking necessary cookies may prevent some site features from working, such as logging in to your account or making a payment.
6. Contact us
For any questions about the use of cookies or your personal information, write to the person in charge of the protection of personal information, Anne-Marie Coulombe, President, at info@soumetstonprojet.ca.
